· Version 0.21.0
The Town Burns
New
- Your town now shows the siege: as the shared lives drop, roofs cave in, fires spread, walls collapse and towers topple. Clear an act and watch it rebuild
- Leaks hit hard: creeps smash into the gate, flyers dive onto the roofs, bosses breach the walls and the giants get their own break-through moments. Archers on the walls fight back
- In co-op a short flash shows which lane leaked, and an arrow points to the gate when it is off screen
- The briefings are now full videos with a narrator, music and a cinematic opening, in sharper quality
- The giants have their own voices: roars, the Kraken's tentacle slap and tide, the Deepmaw's rumble and the Void King's war horn
- Relic towers have new, more detailed tops and a charge-up that builds to a blinding release
- Nature's aura towers grow vines to every tower they strengthen, and placing an aura tower shows which towers it would reach
- Acts III and IV now bring the new creep looks instead of the old ones
- The lobby shows a big Continue your run card when you have a saved act
- Frost's slows now Earthbind: creeps held by a Frost slow can no longer burrow under the maze
- Arcane towers are Skyseers: from Act II on they hit flyers harder (shown on the race card and tower tooltips)
- The main menu has Options (sound, music, graphics) and the Catalog (towers, races, bestiary, maps) right on the home screen
Improvements
- Frost is a stronger Giant-bane
- The great giants now shrug off part of Arcane's damage, so the late acts are less of a sure thing for Arcane
- Frost AI teammates now raise Glaciers and Ice Shots instead of stacking Chill towers, and several other AI teammates play better plans
Fixes
- Long menus like Options no longer run off the top and bottom of the screen
