Maps
A map is a layout and a world. The layout decides where the 8 lanes run and where they meet; the world is how it looks. The lobby host picks both, and every layout can be played in every world.

How lanes are dealt
Every layout has 8 lanes. With fewer players the lanes in play are taken from the middle out, in this order: 4, 5, 3, 6, 2, 7, 1, 8; the others stay quiet. Each player mazes their own lane, and all lanes end in shared ground before the goal, where everyone may build.
